Job Summary
The SIGNAL IDUNA Asset Management GmbH, a major German insurance and financial services provider, is seeking a proactive and technology-enthusiastic Data Protection Manager to actively shape and advance data protection within the organization. This key role involves supporting the Data Protection Officer in operational matters, acting as the central point of contact for legal data protection inquiries, and ensuring compliance across all IT systems, digital business processes, and AI applications, particularly concerning GDPR. The ideal candidate will possess a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, professional experience in data protection law, and a strong understanding of IT structures and security. Day-to-day tasks include managing the register of processing activities, coordinating risk assessments and data protection impact assessments, and developing and conducting employee training. This position offers a responsible role at the intersection of law, IT, and digital innovation, requiring strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented, proactive mindset.

Relevant university degree or comparable qualification; Certifications in data protection or information security are advantageous
Experience
- Professional experience in data protection law
