This role involves executing mechanical and technological materials tests, focusing heavily on destructive testing methodologies. Day-to-day tasks include performing various tests such as tensile, compression, bending, impact, and fatigue tests, along with the independent assembly and disassembly of test setups in the laboratory. The technician is responsible for operating test stands, evaluating, documenting, and preparing test results, and ensuring compliance with internal work instructions. Key qualifications include a completed education as a Materials Testing Technician or a certified technician in fields like plastics, metal, or heat treatment technology. Candidates must possess strong practical and theoretical knowledge of materials testing, specifically fracture mechanics testing, and experience operating mechanical and servo-hydraulic testing machines. Success in this role requires a structured, conscientious, and independent working style, good communication skills for technical interaction with customers, and a willingness for occasional travel.

Completed training as a Materials Testing Technician or State-Certified Technician (Specializing in Plastics Technology, Metal Technology, Heat Treatment Technology, or similar)
