This role involves providing essential field service for advanced fuel cell and battery testing systems, primarily serving customers in the Central Germany region. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing maintenance, critical repairs, and precise calibration of test benches directly at customer sites. The technician is also responsible for commissioning new systems, ensuring quality control, and offering technical support both remotely and on-site. A key component of the job is preparing and conducting specialized training sessions for both internal and external clients, requiring strong communication with project managers. The ideal candidate holds a degree or technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Measurement, or Process Engineering, coupled with proven experience, particularly in battery or fuel cell test systems. Success in this autonomous role demands fluent German and English skills, high self-initiative, and a dedicated customer-oriented approach.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (B.Sc. or equivalent) in Measurement, Process, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering; or Technician qualification (e.g., state-certified technician) in Electrical Engineering or similar.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or related technical field (implied by alternative qualification)
  • Experience in battery or fuel cell test systems (advantageous)
  • Training as an electrical specialist (advantageous)
