Job Summary

This is an opportunity for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a leading economic research institution in Ulm on a permanent contract. The role involves comprehensive accounting duties spanning both Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets Management. Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying, posting, and booking current business transactions within Accounts Payable, managing Fixed Assets Accounting including valuation and reporting, and handling general ledger postings and petty cash. The position also requires managing general administrative tasks, including written and telephone correspondence, and undertaking project-related special assignments within the accounting department. Candidates must have successfully completed commercial training or hold a comparable qualification, such as a Balance Sheet Accountant certification. Success requires several years of relevant professional experience, strong proficiency in MS Office (Word and Excel), and demonstrated accuracy, reliability, and teamwork skills.
