Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Signal Technician responsible for maintaining and ensuring the safety and functionality of critical railway infrastructure components. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed adjustment and functional checks on signal circuits, switch drives, and track clearance systems. You will also be tasked with checking switch and signal lighting, as well as controlling and parameterizing level crossing systems. A core part of the job involves conducting maintenance and repair work on components related to control and safety technology (Leit- und Sicherungstechnik). The ideal candidate must possess a completed vocational qualification in electrical or automation technology, such as an Electronics Technician or Electrical Installer, and hold a Class B driver's license. Professional experience in electrical engineering is advantageous, and a qualification as a Signal Worker is highly desirable.
