Job Summary

This role is seeking a motivated IT System Technician or Computer Scientist who thrives on managing complex IT infrastructures and acting as a key problem-solver. Day-to-day responsibilities include the administration and maintenance of server landscapes (Windows/Linux) and virtualization environments (like Hyper-V), alongside configuring and monitoring network components such as switches, firewalls, and VPN connections (e.g., Securepoint, Sophos). The specialist will also be the primary technical point of contact for customer support, responsible for implementing robust backup strategies, ensuring IT security compliance, and actively participating in infrastructure projects like Cloud migrations. The ideal candidate must possess a background in IT system integration, strong knowledge of Microsoft Server OS and Active Directory, and excellent networking expertise (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing).
