Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Automation or PLC Technician to join a reputable pharmaceutical company in Ingelheim am Rhein, focusing on maintaining stable and GMP-compliant plant operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include the parameterization of controls and drive units, documenting PLC source code, and performing online error diagnostics within established control logic and fieldbus systems. You will also be involved in expanding transitions and control logic using methods like FUP and KOP, and supporting control system commissioning (IO checks, fieldbus addressing, hardware parameterization). The ideal candidate possesses a minimum 3-year vocational qualification in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics technology, strong knowledge of SPS, HMI, SCADA, and specific experience with Siemens WinCC / TIA Portal. Experience in pharmaceutical production and adherence to GMP guidelines are essential for success in this critical automation role.
