Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive 1st and 2nd level IT support, ensuring timely and professional resolution of technical issues via phone, email, or in person. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems within Microsoft and Citrix environments, installing and configuring operating systems, applications, and drivers, and documenting all support tickets and processes. The specialist will also be responsible for training employees on IT system usage, both remotely and on-site, and contributing to exciting IT projects across the company group. Candidates must possess a relevant IT qualification, strong knowledge of hardware, software, Windows operating systems, and networking, coupled with excellent communication and service-oriented skills to effectively convey complex technical information.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT Merchant, or a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support and troubleshooting
- Experience using common support tools and ticketing systems
