Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Assistant or Biology Laboratory Technician to join the Neuroimmunology Clinic at the University Hospital Bonn (UKB). Working within a research lab focused on neuroimmunological diseases like Multiple Sclerosis, the role involves executing advanced laboratory techniques, including the isolation of peripheral blood cells (PBMC), flow cytometry, ELISA, and molecular biology methods such as cloning and PCR/RT-PCR. The successful candidate will also manage bioprocesses, including sample documentation and storage, and handle general lab organization and equipment maintenance. This position requires strong technical proficiency in immunology and molecular biology, a keen interest in translational research (bench-to-bedside), and excellent organizational skills to contribute to a dedicated and interdisciplinary team aiming to translate new findings into clinical applications for patients.
