Job Summary
The Grid Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of grid connections for large-scale wind and photovoltaic projects. This role involves close coordination with grid operators to ensure smooth connection processes, managing the tendering and awarding of necessary grid connection work, and overseeing the construction phase through effective interface management with internal and external partners. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering and several years of practical experience in grid connection planning for renewable energy projects, coupled with excellent knowledge of relevant technical standards and legal regulations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, structured, and reliable individual with strong project management skills, a passion for the energy transition, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while contributing to a growing company.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field
Experience
- Several years of practical experience in planning and implementing grid connections for renewable energy projects
- Professional experience in leading and coordinating technical projects, ideally in the renewable energy sector
- Excellent knowledge of grid connection rules, technical standards, and relevant legal regulations
