Job Summary
This role involves providing essential IT support for the Traunstein Tax Office, focusing on hardware problem resolution, system maintenance, and end-user support. Day-to-day tasks include acting as the first point of contact for hardware issues, performing initial troubleshooting and repair, coordinating the replacement and procurement of IT equipment (PCs, printers, mobile devices), and managing IT consumables like toner and ink. You will also be responsible for setting up and installing new workstations, providing technical instruction to users, maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), and monitoring the local server room environment (including climate control and UPS). The ideal candidate possesses a broad understanding of IT systems, networks, and operating systems, coupled with professional experience in 1st Level Support and a strong background in Windows Server environments. Completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Completed apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable multi-year professional experience
- Professional experience in 1st Level Support (ideally)
- Experience with common hardware and peripheral devices
