Job Summary

This role is for an FPGA Development Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering, tasked with the full lifecycle development, optimization, and new design of complex FPGA systems, primarily using Xilinx FPGAs, Verilog, and High-Level Synthesis (HLS). A core responsibility involves developing and adapting C drivers for Xilinx UltraScale controller architectures, supporting both bare-metal and Linux environments. The engineer will provide technical expertise in video processing for military systems, managing the entire development process from conception through implementation, integration, verification, and achieving series production readiness. Success requires a degree in Electrical Engineering and proven experience in FPGA design, embedded C development, and rigorous documentation according to military standards. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Substantial professional experience in FPGA development
  • Professional experience in modeling digital circuits using Hardware Description Languages, preferably Verilog and HLS
  • Professional experience in developing embedded software in C for FPGA-based systems
  • Experience accompanying the full development cycle from conception to series production
  • Experience supporting development activities in video processing for military systems
