Job Summary
This role is for an IT Service Technician based in Paderborn, Germany, focusing on field service. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing hardware repairs under warranty for products from leading manufacturers like HP, Lenovo, and Kyocera. Key tasks include maintaining notebooks, PCs, and servers, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues independently, and managing leasing computer exchanges for clients. The position also involves supporting hardware/PC rollouts, cabling, and system relocations, alongside meticulous documentation of all troubleshooting processes within the ticketing system. Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT Systems Electronics Technician, Information Electronics Technician for Office Systems Technology, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT service or a comparable field (desirable)
- Experience in configuring and repairing IT devices
