Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated and reliable Laboratory Technician responsible for executing a variety of critical analytical and material testing procedures. Day-to-day tasks involve performing bath analysis (wet chemical analysis of metals, density determinations, spectral analyses), wastewater analysis using UV-VIS spectroscopy, and comprehensive material testing, including X-Ray and coulometry thickness measurements, climate and temperature change tests, and corrosion protection tests like salt spray tests. A successful candidate must possess meticulous working habits, manual dexterity, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Key responsibilities also include generating detailed reports (material test certificates, QS reports, initial sample inspection reports, IMDS documentation) and creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring the laboratory maintains high quality and compliance standards. The position offers full-time or part-time permanent employment with thorough training provided by expert staff.
