This role is designed for a skilled (Diploma) Engineer specializing in train radio communication, focusing on the technical support and maintenance of radio systems and associated components on ÖBB rail vehicles. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and optimizing maintenance standards according to legal and normative requirements, collaborating closely with internal technical departments and external suppliers, and technically supporting procurement processes for new radio systems. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing new systems, conducting failure analysis, and developing RAMS/LCC and technical risk analyses to drive continuous improvement. Key qualifications include a technical education in Electrical Engineering or similar, expertise in radio and telecommunication systems, and professional experience, preferably within the rail vehicle sector.
