This role involves serving as a Planning Engineer specializing in Control and Safety Technology (CST) for DB Engineering & Consulting, focusing on crucial railway infrastructure projects in Germany. The successful candidate will manage the entire planning lifecycle for new construction and modification of CST systems, including preparing technical specifications, performance schedules, and tender documents. Daily tasks include creating documentation for financing agreements, construction release applications, and public-law approval procedures. The position requires a degree in CST or Electrical Engineering, ideally combined with professional experience in planning CST systems and strong knowledge of relevant regulations (LST-Regelwerk). You will need excellent coordination, communication, and software skills (MS Project, AutoCAD) to collaborate across disciplines and drive technical improvements, ensuring the realization of sustainable infrastructure for future generations.
