This role involves the administration, development, and support of critical clinical IT systems, primarily focusing on the Hospital Information System (M-KIS by Meierhofer) at Luisenhospital, an academic teaching hospital in Aachen. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation and advancement of various digital solutions, including speech recognition and patient portals, while ensuring seamless integration of medical devices and managing interfaces (HL7, FHIR). Key activities include providing user training and support, collaborating with external vendors, and overseeing the Telematics Infrastructure (e.g., ePA, e-Rezept). This position requires strong analytical skills, expertise in clinical workflows, and active participation in projects related to the Hospital Future Act (KHZG), offering a stable, demanding, and modern work environment within a highly qualified medical team.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Medical Informatics, Medical Technology, or a comparable IT qualification
Experience
- Professional experience as an Application Administrator or Application Specialist for clinical systems
- Experience with Clinical Information Systems (preferably M-KIS)
- Professional experience as a lateral entrant with a medical or nursing background and high IT affinity
