Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical and Automation Technician to join a reputable client in the mechanical engineering sector in Solingen. You will be instrumental in developing control, drive, and safety concepts for custom machinery, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations. A core part of the role involves electrical design using EPLAN P8, creating circuit diagrams, parts lists, and assembly plans. Day-to-day tasks include crucial support during the assembly and commissioning phases, collaborating with other departments, and performing PLC programming (S7 in TIA Portal). You will also be responsible for in-house machine commissioning, providing technical consultation for offers, and offering customer support, primarily via phone or remote maintenance. Occasional on-site customer visits for commissioning or troubleshooting are also required, making this a diverse and hands-on position for a professional with strong EPLAN and SIMATIC TIA Portal expertise.
