Job Summary

This critical role involves acting as a System Engineer specializing in platform development within the high-stakes domain of mission systems, supporting HENSOLDT Sensors in developing advanced radar, optoelectronic, electronic warfare, and avionics products. The successful candidate will be responsible for the derivation and conception of the system architecture, translating complex customer and contractual needs into actionable technical concepts, including Epics and User Stories. A major focus of the position is on infrastructure automation and system reliability, requiring expertise in system-wide error analysis, troubleshooting, and the configuration and maintenance of Windows Server/Client landscapes. You will utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like DSC (Desired State Configuration) and PowerShell, alongside container technologies such as Docker, while ensuring all security and encryption requirements are strictly met. This position requires a degree in Computer Science or a related scientific field, coupled with professional experience in both system and software development, and fluent communication skills in both German and English.
