Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced PLC Programmer focused on modernizing legacy industrial control systems. The primary responsibility involves porting PROMICON PLC programs to Siemens control systems, requiring deep analysis, dismantling, and rebuilding of third-party machinery over a 1-2 year period. Key tasks include creating and maintaining programs using the pCOM Motion language, utilizing the pPRO project planning tool from the PIDS software package, and managing variables, constants, and objects. Candidates must possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, strong experience with both PROMICON and Siemens PLC programming, and familiarity with C-syntax for intuitive programming.
