Job Summary

This role involves supporting the next level of technological solutions by focusing on the maintenance and modernization of production facilities, specifically within the food processing sector. The specialist will be responsible for the electrical and control-technical maintenance of machinery, including the programming, upkeep, and expansion of various manufacturers' Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Key daily tasks include implementing modernization measures to improve plant performance, ensuring high process safety and availability, and actively participating in technical projects like expansions or new plant installations. The position requires a completed vocational training in electronics or automation technology, deep expertise in Siemens control systems (Step7, TIA Portal, WinCC flexible), and proficiency in German. The successful candidate will also coordinate external contractors and meticulously document all technical activities within the SAP ERP system, operating in a 2-shift schedule.
