HMI Developer | HMI Entwickler (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This position calls for an experienced HMI Developer to take ownership of the conception and design of the Human-Machine Interface for Truck & Bus systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing robust GUI series concepts based on detailed requirements, documenting and specifying HMI concepts to serve as a critical interface function across various technical departments, and supporting the final implementation phase. A key element of the role involves coordinating HMI specification documents with external partners and suppliers. Candidates must hold a completed degree in a relevant field such as Media Informatics, Engineering, or Interaction Design, coupled with several years of professional experience in designing complex interface solutions within the commercial vehicle or automotive sector. Strong foundational knowledge in ergonomics, usability, and user-centered development methods is mandatory, along with excellent coordination and communication skills. The role offers an unrestricted permanent contract, flexible working arrangements including mobile work, and access to extensive internal training programs.
