Job Summary
This role involves driving the technical development and enhancement of products from initial customer requirements through to market readiness. The Application Engineer will be responsible for creating detailed requirement specifications, managing the design process, and overseeing validation and verification activities. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with suppliers, test laboratories, and customers, conducting type testing (e.g., environmental and EMC), and supervising pilot installations. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical qualification, possesses strong knowledge in both information technology and electrical engineering, and is fluent in German with very good English skills.
