Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive civil engineering responsibilities within the District Road Administration, managing approximately 600 km of district roads and 160 bridge structures in the Passau district. The Civil Engineer will oversee the planning, tendering, supervision, and warranty management for road construction and structural engineering projects, including new construction, modifications, and expansions. A key part of the role is managing external engineering firms and participating in structural inspections, with a potential path to certification as a structural inspector according to DIN 1076. Candidates must possess a university degree in Civil Engineering, be proficient in VOB and relevant technical road and structural engineering regulations (such as ZTV-ING, RE-ING), and demonstrate strong negotiation and organizational skills.
