Job Summary

This role is for a skilled Service Technician specializing in the critical maintenance and repair of railway battery systems. The core responsibilities include performing detailed fault analysis, conducting necessary repairs, and replacing defective battery cells across various systems. You will also be responsible for running capacity tests and ensuring meticulous technical documentation for all completed work, handling both customer and production orders directly in the workshop. Candidates must possess a completed technical qualification, such as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics, coupled with proven experience in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing complex battery systems. Crucially, you must be qualified as an electrician for working under voltage (AuS). The position requires a high degree of safety awareness, precision, and the flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and varying deployment locations. This is a permanent contract opportunity offering good compensation, holiday/Christmas bonuses, and a planned transition to permanent employment with the client company.
