PLC/HMI Programmer (Mechatronics Background) | Mechatroniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role is for a proactive PLC/HMI Programmer responsible for developing and implementing control systems using Siemens TIA Portal and HMI Pro, contributing to the future of electron beam technology within the pro-beam group. Key daily tasks involve interdisciplinary project management, serving as the interface between customers, R&D, and production, and performing machine commissioning both locally and globally at client sites. You will also be responsible for advanced troubleshooting during service cases and conducting tailored customer training sessions, ranging from basic to professional levels. Candidates must possess a background as a Technician in Automation or Mechatronics (with PLC certification) or a degree in Electrical/Automation Engineering, coupled with 1-3 years of relevant professional experience. Fundamental knowledge of welding machines is advantageous. Success in this role requires a service-oriented approach, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel internationally for project deployment.
