Job Summary

This role is ideal for a Hardware Engineering Safety I&C Specialist focused on maintaining and enhancing specialized engineering tools. The core responsibilities involve developing and supporting tools based on MS Access and MS Visio using VBA, requiring strong programming and database skills. Key tasks include creating requirement specifications (Lastenhefte/Pflichtenhefte), developing and maintaining comprehensive user and developer documentation, and continuously improving the tools in collaboration with end-users. The specialist will also manage project support during tool application and conduct user training. Candidates should possess a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, foundational knowledge of hardware design (ideally TXS platform), and proficiency in high-level programming and SQL. This position offers an attractive salary, a 35-hour work week, and strong potential for permanent employment with a renowned client in Erlangen.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field

Experience

  • Initial experience in creating requirement specifications (Pflichtenheften/Lastenheften)
  • Experience in implementing and reviewing requirement specifications
  • Professional experience in documenting programming results and commenting program code
  • Foundational understanding of HW-Design (ideally TXS platform)
