This role is for an innovative Technical Physicist or Engineer specializing in vacuum and cryogenics, focusing on developing new concepts for plant construction and continuous process optimization. The specialist will take technical leadership for key areas including thermal insulation, vacuum technology, and helium leak detection for an internationally expanding manufacturer of vacuum-super-insulated storage and transport containers. Daily responsibilities involve managing development orders, meticulously planning and executing complex test series, analyzing results, and creating essential technical specifications, calculations, and design documentation. Collaboration across departments (Project Management, Production, Purchasing) and with external partners is crucial. Key requirements include a degree in Technical Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, coupled with professional experience in R&D or design, and fundamental knowledge of thermodynamics and heat/mass transfer.
