Job Summary
This role involves planning and executing development tests on gas- and air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear within the company's in-house testing laboratory. The Development Engineer will be responsible for meticulously evaluating and assessing test results, subsequently generating comprehensive test reports. A core part of the job includes overseeing the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of testing and measuring equipment. Furthermore, the engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring and advancing high quality standards for the medium-voltage switchgear products. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Electrical and Control Engineering, ideally coupled with initial practical experience in a testing or experimental environment. Expertise in medium-voltage switchgear and relevant standards, particularly IEC 62271, is essential, alongside fluency in German and good working knowledge of English.
