Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specializing in the development and 3D CAD design of complex control cabinets and modules. Day-to-day responsibilities involve creating detailed construction documents, test reports, and technical specifications (e.g., performance and test specifications). You will be responsible for planning, dimensioning, and calculating electrical systems while ensuring compliance with relevant norms and guidelines, including EN 60204-1 and EN ISO 13849-1. A key part of the job includes master data maintenance, particularly within EPLAN, and overseeing the implementation of prototypes for control boxes and wiring harnesses. The position requires a degree or certified technician qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology, coupled with several years of professional experience in electrical design and fluent proficiency in both German and English.
