Job Summary

This is an opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a renowned client in Elmshorn, focusing on the design and construction of switchgear systems for the shipbuilding and industrial sectors. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, parts lists, and terminal/cable lists using the CAE system EPLAN P8. The role requires selecting and specifying electrical operating equipment, developing technical documentation, and preparing calculations and quotes. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification, possesses proficiency in EPLAN P8, and has professional experience in switchgear construction.
