Job Summary

This unique opportunity as a Wildlife Conservation Ranger involves joining the team at Germany's largest ape sanctuary, dedicated to protecting the endangered Barbary macaque. The core mission is to inspire visitors towards nature and species conservation by sharing fascinating information about the 200 resident macaques. Daily duties include extensive visitor interaction, education on biodiversity, and potentially conducting moderated feeding sessions, using knowledge gained during the comprehensive onboarding process. This role requires a high degree of contact affinity, enthusiasm for animals, and a willingness to work outdoors regardless of the weather. It is a meaningful position where you actively contribute to a positive future for wildlife, starting March 14, 2026, initially on a temporary contract with prospects for continued employment.
