Job Summary
This role seeks an experienced PLC Programmer to drive technological advancements within the electrical and automation sectors, working on exciting projects for major clients. Key responsibilities include the programming and commissioning of PLC controls, specifically for sorting and transport systems. The successful candidate will be involved in the full development lifecycle, including configuration, implementation, system testing, fault analysis, and creating comprehensive technical documentation. Qualifications require a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology and proven expertise with platforms such as Siemens S7, TIA Portal, or Allen Bradley. This position is ideal for a professional eager to contribute their long-standing expertise, collaborate across departments, and occasionally travel internationally for on-site commissioning and support.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming
- Experience in the commissioning of control systems on-site at customer locations
- Experience in developing, configuring, and implementing systems as part of a development team
