Job Summary
This role involves joining GESA, a subsidiary of the Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) specializing in the remediation and redevelopment of former industrial and military sites, to enhance their internal IT capabilities. Based in Berlin or Leipzig, the successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous development and maintenance of the company's proprietary in-house ERP system. Key daily tasks include developing and implementing new modules and features using Java Desktop applications (JavaFX and Swing), integrating interfaces with document management and accounting systems, and optimizing MySQL databases for robust reporting functions (Excel, Word). Candidates must possess a degree or vocational training in IT, strong proficiency in Java 21, JPA, JDBC, and experience with version control systems like Git, making this a challenging and autonomous role in a stable, public-sector-adjacent environment.
