Job Summary

This role seeks a highly organized Technical Coordinator to manage the lifecycle of digital IT systems within a Systems Engineering framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating complex project meetings with internal departments, external clients (BAAINBw), and subcontractors, while rigorously monitoring development progress and handling technical change requests. Key daily tasks include commissioning hardware components, analyzing detailed technical documentation such as interface descriptions and data sheets, and developing integration concepts for radio and IT systems. The coordinator is also responsible for creating and maintaining essential project documents, including system specifications and verification plans. Applicants must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, possess fundamental experience with V-Model processes, and hold a relevant Systems Engineering certification (like INCOSE Level C). Proficiency in requirements management using DOORS and excellent communication skills in both German (Fluent) and English (Intermediate) are essential for success in this demanding technical coordination role.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology, or equivalent technical qualification (e.g., Certified Electrical Engineering Technician). Valid Systems Engineering certification (e.g., INCOSE Level C) required.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering
  • Fundamental experience with V-Model development processes
  • Professional experience in requirements management using DOORS
  • Initial experience in technical project management (advantageous)
