Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Technician to join a leading manufacturer of rail vehicles, with a global presence spanning Europe, North Africa, and North America. Based in Braunschweig, the technician will be integral to the team responsible for maintaining and enhancing product quality. Day-to-day tasks involve rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic assemblies and devices, alongside commissioning new systems and components. A key part of the job includes creating product-specific test documentation, processing customer repairs, and developing new testing tools and methods. The ideal candidate must have completed relevant vocational training (e.g., Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems or Electrical Engineering Technician), possess solid experience with standard measurement and testing technology, and demonstrate strong German and English language skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Radio Technology, or equivalent qualification; alternatively, a successfully completed education as a state-certified Electrical Engineering Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components
  • Experience in the commissioning of electronic systems and components
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits and acceptance procedures
