Job Summary

This is a secure, permanent, full-time position for a Transmission System Technician focused on executing challenging, nationwide telecommunications projects across Germany. The core responsibilities involve collaborating on diverse projects with a focus on network and transmission technology, including the installation, commissioning, and integration of active system technology and optical transmission systems (such as OLT and MPLS) into existing network infrastructures. You will also be responsible for essential maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault clearance on active network devices from major vendors like Nokia, ZTE, and Huawei, ensuring thorough documentation of all processes. Candidates must possess a completed technical vocational qualification in a relevant field (e.g., IT-System Electronics or Telecommunications Technology), a Class B driving license, and proven experience working with network elements at Network Level 2 and 3. This position requires extensive travel from Monday to Friday.
