Job Summary

This role is for a Chemical Engineer specializing in utilities operations, joining the Plant and Process Engineering team at Celonic, a leading Biologics CDMO. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of critical black utility systems, including refrigeration, compressed air, and neutralization plants, at their Heidelberg, Germany facility. Key responsibilities involve developing and implementing strategies to optimize plant performance, conducting root cause analyses, evaluating Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), and managing plant documentation. The position requires a hands-on approach, strong technical expertise, and the ability to lead small investment projects while adhering to GMP regulations.
