Job Summary

This role seeks a motivated and flexible Chemical Technician or Chemical Plant Operator to immediately join a team focused on environmental protection and plant operations. Day-to-day responsibilities center on the continuous monitoring and control of the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring efficient operation through the use of Process Control Systems (PLS) for the biological clarification plant. Key tasks include executing routine maintenance, simple repairs (like emptying filter presses), meticulous documentation of plant status, and actively optimizing operational processes. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Chemical Technician and proven experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment facilities. Essential technical knowledge in control and regulation technology is required, alongside a strong commitment to safety and environmental standards. The position offers a permanent contract, attractive compensation starting at €24.50 per hour under the Chemical Collective Bargaining Agreement, and provides excellent benefits including shift supplements and the potential for direct employment with the client.
