Job Summary

This role is for a Chemical Production and Laboratory Technician to join a leading global chemical group located in the Marl Chemical Park, initially through temporary employment with the prospect of a permanent contract. The technician will be central to managing and executing material handling processes, specifically the filling and emptying of pressurized gases and liquids. Daily responsibilities include meticulous documentation of all transfer operations within the production management system, ensuring strict compliance with dangerous goods labeling and transport regulations, and monitoring transfer processes both on-site and from the control room. Furthermore, the technician will conduct independent sampling for quality assurance, operate shunting systems, and verify all necessary shipping and customs documentation. Successful candidates must have completed vocational training as a Chemical Technician or equivalent, possess long-term professional experience, and demonstrate knowledge of plant procedures and safety regulations. The position requires a high degree of self-reliance, process-oriented thinking, and mandatory readiness for alternating shift work.
