Job Summary

This role seeks an innovative problem-solver to join a team in Waltershausen, focusing on the conception, programming, and commissioning of control systems for specialized machinery. The PLC Programmer will be instrumental in developing control concepts in collaboration with customers and internal teams, standardizing PLC and HMI programming, and implementing new programs using systems like Siemens TIA, Beckhoff, and Opcon+. Key responsibilities include commissioning systems both in the factory and at the customer site, integrating controls with higher-level systems (e.g., databases, MES), and contributing to documentation and service support. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering or possesses equivalent professional experience. A systematic approach to problem-solving, enthusiasm for the profession, and proficiency in written and spoken English are desirable.
