Job Summary

This role involves driving the end-to-end product development and formulation optimization for high-quality cosmetics, food supplements, and aromatherapy products (including essential oils and room sprays). The Product Developer will be responsible for ensuring technical and regulatory feasibility of new ingredients and product concepts, creating and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation (specifications, test plans), and managing external collaborations with contract manufacturers, laboratories, and suppliers through briefing, sample runs, and scale-up processes. A strong regulatory background is essential, covering EU requirements for cosmetics (EU Cosmetic Regulation, PIF), food supplements (NEMV, declaration), and potentially aromatherapy products. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Food Chemistry, Chemistry, or Oecotrophology, possesses excellent German and good English skills, and has a structured, documentation-focused work style, making this an exciting opportunity to shape products from concept to market launch in a quality-focused environment.
