Job Summary
The City of Bad Oldesloe is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to manage and support the IT infrastructure across seven local schools, encompassing approximately 2,600 end devices. This full-time, permanent role involves comprehensive system administration, including supporting school and state network workstations, performing updates and upgrades on specialized software and server programs, and maintaining/expanding the Windows server landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a background as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent, paired with deep knowledge in network technology, databases, and various operating systems (Linux, MAC OS, iOS, Windows). Day-to-day duties also include network analysis, troubleshooting, and providing user support for both school staff and city administration. This position offers a stable, permanent contract, flexible working hours, and opportunities for remote work.

Vocational training or further education as an IT Specialist for System Integration, Business IT Specialist, or IT System Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience as an IT Specialist for System Integration, Business IT Specialist, or IT System Electronics Technician
- Several years of professional experience in the IT environment (if no original IT qualification is held)
- Several years of professional experience overall
