Job Summary

This role involves supporting research data management within the Medical Faculty, focusing on the Data Integration Center. The Data Management Officer will be responsible for advising scientific staff on IT services, including research data storage and software solutions, and providing ongoing support for these systems. A key part of the job is consulting on and drafting research data management sections for third-party funding applications and creating detailed data management plans. Furthermore, the role requires training scientific personnel on relevant IT services, software, and data management topics, supporting digital consent processes (like Broad Consent), and overseeing data management activities in large collaborative projects. Candidates should have a degree or training in Computer Science or Data Sciences, strong knowledge of FAIR principles for research data, and experience or interest in data protection within a security-critical environment.
