Job Summary

This role involves acting as a dedicated IT Security Expert, focusing heavily on BSI IT Baseline Protection (IT-Grundschutz) standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing and analyzing IT systems and applications against stringent security requirements, conducting risk analyses, and determining protection needs according to BSI guidelines. You will be responsible for modeling information networks, selecting appropriate BSI modules, and developing technical security concepts. A key part of the job is performing security checks (Basic and Baseline Protection), documenting findings using HiScout, and supporting IT Baseline Protection certifications while coordinating with security management. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of security processes, IT system architectures (hardware, operating systems, networks), and excellent German language skills (C1 minimum) to effectively contribute to the development of security policies and regulations.
