Job Summary
Join a leading technology firm focused on connecting people and technologies by finding the perfect match for complex industrial challenges. As a Specialist in Non-Destructive Material Testing, you will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and evaluating various non-destructive testing (NDT) procedures, including VT, PT, MT, UT, and RT, ensuring compliance with current standards and specifications. Key tasks involve selecting appropriate testing methods based on material and component geometry, performing welding supervision during manufacturing and assembly, and meticulously creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation, reports, and acceptance certificates. This role requires close collaboration with quality assurance, engineering teams, and external testing institutes, offering an opportunity to apply deep material science knowledge and contribute to high-stakes industrial solutions across various technology sectors.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree or comparable technical training; Certification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 is advantageous
Experience
- Fundamental knowledge in material technology
- Experience in plant engineering is desirable
- Familiarity with common damage mechanisms and their evaluation
- Experience in vibration measurement technology is desirable
