Job Summary

This role as a Network Specialist involves becoming a key technical resource within FERCHAU, supporting IT and Engineering projects across various companies. Day-to-day responsibilities include the installation and configuration of complex Cisco networks, continuous monitoring and maintenance of network performance, and rapid troubleshooting of any network issues. A critical part of the job involves implementing robust security measures, specifically focusing on Firewall configurations and VPN connections, alongside creating detailed technical documentation and reports. The specialist will collaborate closely with other IT teams to optimize the overall network infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Computer Science or a related field and possesses fundamental expertise in Cisco components, network protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP, and comprehensive experience managing LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructures.
