Electrical Design Engineer EPLAN | Konstrukteur Elektrotechnik EPLAN (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for the planning and design of machine control and drive systems, specifically focusing on electrical engineering and automation technology. Key day-to-day tasks include designing instrumentation, control, and regulation (ICR) technology, selecting and specifying components, and independently creating and maintaining circuit diagrams using EPLAN P8, ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The successful candidate will develop and optimize electrical concepts for machinery and systems, collaborating closely with R&D, mechanical design, and manufacturing teams across national and international sites. Qualifications require a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology (or equivalent technical qualification/Technician certification with relevant experience), fundamental knowledge of electrical design, and practical experience with EPLAN P8 and basic CAD visualization skills. Strong communication skills in both German and English are essential for this collaborative role.
