Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious Project Planning Engineer to drive innovation in electrical energy systems for Siemens Energy. The core responsibilities involve taking charge of the execution and project management of complex studies related to grid planning, network development, and the detailed analysis and simulation of electrical power systems. A key focus area is the integration of modern components, such as power electronic devices, renewable generation sources, and energy storage, into existing AC grids. You will be responsible for coordinating engineers across various technical and virtual teams in a multicultural setting, and actively participating in pre-acquisition and sales activities to expand the business. Candidates must possess a completed degree in Electrical Power Engineering and demonstrable professional experience in this field, coupled with solid expertise in typical network simulation programs (e.g., PSS/E, PowerFactory). Success requires strong initiative, analytical skills, and business-fluent German and English communication abilities.
