Job Summary

This role involves the worldwide electrical commissioning of complex metallurgical and heat treatment plants. The Commissioning Engineer will assume significant responsibility, acting as the site manager to coordinate local technicians and mechanics, and providing essential customer support both remotely and on-site during the warranty phase. Daily tasks include supporting the software development team, specifically relating to PLC and OIP systems, conducting rigorous functional and safety tests on the equipment, meticulous documentation of commissioning processes, and training customer personnel on plant operation. The ideal candidate possesses a degree or completed training in Electrical Engineering and has initial professional experience in commissioning industrial facilities. Success in this challenging position requires fluency in both German and English, and a strong willingness to travel globally, as the role demands approximately 90% worldwide travel.
